Nathan Kimsey was born on March 21, 1993, in Boston, England. He started playing golf soon after he was able to walk and began playing competitively at the age of 6. Much of his younger golfing years were spent as a member and being coached at Woodhall Spa Golf Club.

Early Career

As an amateur, Kimsey claimed the 2011 Peter McEvoy Trophy, the 2012 Darwin Salver, and the 2013 Terra Cotta Invitational. He was also part of the victorious Great Britain and Ireland team at the 2011 Jacques Léglise Trophy, represented the GB&I Walker Cup team in 2013, and formed part of the victorious England side at the European Team Championship that same year.

Professional Career

Kimsey turned professional in 2013 and spent two years on the Challenge Tour before dropping down to the EuroPro Tour for the 2016 season. 

He earned his European Tour card for the 2017 season by becoming only the second player in history to win Qualifying School Final Stage after coming all the way through from Stage One. 

In his rookie European Tour season, he finished top-10 at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters and Australian PGA Championship but returned to the Challenge Tour for 2018. 

In 2022, Kimsey won the Le Vaudreuil Golf Challenge and the Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final to become the Challenge Tour Rankings winner and earn promotion to the European Tour.
