Ryder Cup Standings

The Ryder Cup excitement is only going to get bigger as the preparations are in full swing. The 44th edition of the rivalry between Team Europe and Team U.S. will take place from Sept. 25-Oct. 1, 2023, at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club, Rome, Italy.

Let’s check out which golfers are making the Team U.S. and Team Europe.

The United States won the 2021 Ryder Cup with a record-breaking 19-9, at Whistling Straits. However, it’s now 30 years since they last visited Europe and won. It was a different scenario at the 2018 Ryder Cup, in which Team Europe won by 17.5-10.5, at Le Golf National in Prais.

The U.S. Team will be made up of the top six eligible players in the points rankings with six captain’s picks. Zach Johnson is the non-playing captain. He has already named Davis Love III and Steve Stricker as two of his non-playing vice-captains.

The non-playing European captain Luke Donald will have six captain’s picks alongside six automatic spots based on points.
