U.S. Team will visit overseas to face Team Europe in the 44th Ryder Cup tournament. The United States won the 2021 Ryder Cup with a record-breaking 19-9, at Whistling Straits. However, it’s now 30 years since they last visited Europe and won.
The U.S. Team will be made up of the top six eligible players in the points rankings with six captain’s picks.
Zach Johnson is the non-playing captain. He has already named Davis Love III and Steve Stricker as two of his non-playing vice-captains.
Latest Team US Rankings
All the United States players will earn points, beginning in 2022 and concluding immediately after the second FedEx Cup Play-Off event (BMW Championship) on August 20, 2023. Six eligible players on the points list will get automatic spots on Team U.S.
